Finished My Quilt Top

Here is a photo of my quilt top For a quilt along at Old Red Barn Co.

I think it turned out quite well. Now I'm off to get the machine quilting part done. The Photo is not the best, But you get the idea.

Crazy Week

It has been an extremely crazy week! My Daughter started Drivers ed. this week. My little guy has been sick with an ear infection. In between all of the running to the dr. office and driving school. I am trying to get a quilt top finished so I can get it quilted.
I also have been in the mood to make some French Beaded Flowers. I always have way to many irons in the fire. I have also been trying to get some items sewn to add to my Etsy shop.
I Guess I would rather be busy, than sitting around with nothing to do. I hope everyone has a great Weekend!

First Attempt At Machine Quilting

This is my first attempt at free motion quilting.
I figured if I start with pot holders, even if they turn out terrible I could still use them.
If anyone has any tips or tricks, I'll gladly accept them.

9 patch blocks

Well it's been a busy week, But I am actually ahead on my 9 patch blocks for a quilt along I have joined. My stash is quite small at the moment so ihave decided to use some stripz I have purchased.

I have also made quite a dent in a full size quilt I am trying to get done for a graduation present.

I'll post pictures some time this week of the finished quilt top.
